April 2022 Corporate Community Champion
Congratulations to Target for being selected as our April 2022 Corporate Community Champion!
Target has been an important and significant corporate partner for over 13 years.
In those years, Target employees have donated over 1.1 million dollars, to help organizations throughout the community!
United Way proudly helps connect 22 local Target stores and Distribution Centers with nonprofit organizations in their community. These stores have also given back hundreds of hours of service to the community through their Target Regional Days of Service Program.
Between 2019-2021, Target employees nationwide donated over 10 million dollars to their local communities, almost $200,000 of that was by our local Target stores!
During the Holiday season, Target stores participated in their annual Great Giftogether, which provides comfort and joy to families in their communities. Store employees shopped for, wrapped and delivered gifts to nonprofit partners that were helping to spread holiday cheer.
Thank you, Target, for setting a solid example of what it means to Live United and build stronger, healthier, more compassionate communities. You are an inspiration!
