Reporting to the Interim Chief Program Officer, The Director of Community Impact is a strategist, planner, advocate, and manager of UWCCR’s most visible and critical community activities. The purpose of this position is to lead and support large-scale social change efforts using a collective impact framework. The Director leads a team of highly skilled program staff in developing, supporting, and managing UWCCR’s collective impact partnerships in one or more neighborhoods or communities. This position provides leadership, strategy development, planning, execution, and accountability for United Way’s collective impact activities. The incumbent is committed to high functioning partnerships with all areas of the organization including fundraising, operations, research and data analytics, marketing, communications, public relations, public policy, and volunteerism. The Director of Community Impact exhibits a professional presence and encourages collaboration at all levels of the organization. The Director is responsible for ensuring that data is central to developing and executing strategies, and that teamwork, communication, and enthusiasm for UWCCR’s mission and programs are fostered among their direct reports.
