Understanding Payments Received Through Our Promise

Received a Payment from United Way California Capital Region?

Good news! The payment you received represents donor contributions designated to your organization through Our Promise: California State Employees Giving at Work or another workplace giving campaign managed by United Way California Capital Region. These funds were collected and distributed on behalf of donors who chose to support your nonprofit.

Need to See Payment Details?

Log into the: Nonprofit e-Community Portal

You’ll be prompted for your username & password.

Username

  • Found on the check face above your organization’s name, or
  • Included in your ACH/EFT payment notification email.

Password

  • Your organization’s ZIP Code.

Once logged in, select the “Payment Reports” tab to view payment reports under Payment Documents.

Frequently Asked Questions

The payment represents donations made by individuals who selected your nonprofit through an employee giving campaign administered by United Way California Capital Region.

Many payments include contributions from multiple donors. Detailed donor information is available through the nonprofit portal within your Donor Detail Report when donors have elected to share their information.

Log into the Nonprofit e-Community Portal and access:

  • Donor Detail Report for donor names
  • Donor Acknowledgment Report for donor names and contact information (when released by the donor)

Payment reports are organized by campaign season year, not calendar year. For example, donations pledged during the 2025 campaign season are scheduled to be paid out through the 2026 calendar year, and will be listed under the 2025 campaign season in the portal.

  • Payment reports can be found within your portal within Payment Documents under the Payment Reports tab.

Reports can be downloaded as:

  • PDF
  • CSV

Log into the Nonprofit e-Community Portal and select“About the Payment Reports” for a detailed explanation of each report section.

Yes. To enroll in ACH/EFT payments, please visit the EFT enrollment webpage or email finance@uwccr.org

To update your:

  • Organization name
  • Mailing address
  • Contact information
