July 2021 Corporate Community Champion
We are thrilled to recognize UPS as our July 2021 Corporate Community Champion. UPS has been a loyal partner with UWCCR for the past 38 years. Over those years, UPS has donated nearly $8,000,000 to United Way locally through their employee giving and corporate gifts.
UPS is also a generous sponsor. Through donations and volunteer hours, they have proven their commitment to helping people in need here in Sacramento. In 2017, they became the sponsor for our large conference room, which we now call the UPS Conference Room. They served as one of our title sponsors for Big Day of Giving in 2018, and have also been a table sponsor for our Women United Luncheons.
Even during a pandemic, UPS continued to be an amazing partner. They actually increased their giving by more than $50,000!
UPS encourages its employees to do everything they can in the community, through their Neighbor to Neighbor program. UPS employees have provided more than 5,000 volunteer hours to our local community.
