Day of Caring brings together business leaders, campaign coordinators, nonprofit partners and volunteers across the region to work on service projects that will make an impact. Working together and fostering team-building within our community exemplifies our LIVE UNITED spirit and builds excitement for giving back, both through time and donations.
This event is one of the most unique opportunities in our region, offering the chance to network with other caring philanthropists and explore the benefits of becoming involved. Most importantly, this event thrives on cultivating lasting change in the lives of foster youth in our region.
You can help brighten the holiday season for foster youth and children in Sacramento County Child Protective Services by purchasing gifts, a stocking, or by volunteering to get everything wrapped and ready.
Annually United Way’s Young Leaders Society (YLS) members come together for the winter social, Brews & Brains. Brews & Brains is an annual FUNdraiser benefiting the YLS focus project.
YLS supports Sacramento’s Kindergarden 2 College Saving Program – a program created to help our community give local kindergarten kids a leg-up to reach college.
