Solano County Unhoused Assistance

This page provides key information for Solano County residents who are currently unhoused or at risk of becoming unhoused. Our goal is to help determine what services you may qualify for and connect you with the support you need as quickly as possible.

United Way California Capital Region will engage a Housing Coordination program that uses a rapid re-housing approach to support individuals and families currently experiencing homelessness in Solano County. This project builds upon UWCCR’s existing Keep People Housed program, which serves individuals at risk of homelessness, with HHAP-5 funding allowing UWCCR to expand services to meet the needs of those who are already unhoused. The program leverages UWCCR’s experience providing system navigation and housing stabilization supports through Keep People Housed (and through CalAIM Housing Transition Navigation, and Housing Tenancy and Stabilization programs operating in Sacramento County). To expand the range of supportive services, UWCCR is partnering with two community-based organizations: LOGIC and Fighting Back Partnership, who will provide a range of supportive services to help the participants served prepare for and sustain permanent housing.

You may be considered unhoused if you or your family meet one or more of the following:

  • Your primary nighttime residence is not meant for human habitation.
  • You are living in a temporary shelter (hotel, motel, congregate shelter, transitional housing paid for by government programs).
  • You are exiting an institution after 90 days or less and were in a shelter or place not meant for habitation immediately before entering.
  • You received written notice to vacate within 14 days, have no identified housing, and lack the resources to secure other permanent housing.
  • You are fleeing or attempting to flee domestic violence, have no other residence, and lack the resources or support networks to obtain housing.

If you believe you meet any of these criteria, please continue to the application form to begin the process.
