Tell us a little bit about yourself. Where do you work? What do you do for fun?  I am the mother of a kick butt nine year old boy who makes me the happiest mom on earth! I work for LifeSTEPS (Skills training & Educational Programs) and love everything about baseball.

What motivated you to join United Way’s Young Leaders Society?
I went to a few events and really liked the way they engaged young professionals. I joined as a member and almost immediately joined the Leadership Council.

What’s the best leadership advice you’ve ever received?
Play the part for the role you want, not the role you are in.

What’s your advice to other young professionals looking to get involved in the community?
Check out YLS! Seriously, we have so many different activities and ways to get involved. You are bound to find something you like.
