Help families keep their hard earned money and help them file
their taxes for free. No tax background required! Each year, the
United Way and hundreds of volunteers help families and
individuals who earn less than $54,000 annually file their taxes
for free. Last tax season, the Free Tax Prep program (formerly
known as VITA) helped more than 8,000 families. With your help,
we can grow that number.
These volunteer positions are a great opportunity for those who
are interested in becoming tax certified or gaining experience
with community relations, interpreting, or financial literacy.
Flexible hours and locations are available. Bilingual and
Multilingual individuals are always needed for all positions.
For more information, contact Debi Linderholm at (916) 856- 3978,

located at 10389 Old Placerville Road in Sacramento on October 24
