See what's happening in our 3 impact areas
The Re(a)d Zone (a signature initiative of 50 Fund – the legacy fund of the San Francisco Bay Super Bowl 50 Host Committee), is a champion of the Campaign for Grade-Level Reading and believes that literacy efforts begin before children start school, they begin at home. See why reading aloud to your children really matters here.
Health education is a main component of United Way’s Hydration Station Initiative (HSI). The HSI is bringing Rethink Your Drink education to students in the Robla school district. Meet the passionate Heath Education Council nursing students helping to deliver the message here.
The HSI will also equipt all students in the Robla School District with a reusable water bottle and educational materials. See how our volunteers kept busy preparing these water bottles here.
Learn to prepare taxes and make a difference at the same time. How can you make a difference? Simple. Help your community in preparing taxes free of charge by becoming a volunteer with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. This year we want to reach as many families as possible.
