This event will feature a conversation with community leaders sharing what we have learned about crisis and how to re-shape efforts toward recovery around health, housing, and education.

Description: COVID-19 has amplified inequities that exist in communities  of color and low-income communities. Now is the time for philanthropy to diversify its portfolio from a focus on basic needs to social justice investing that builds wealth and community resilience. Join guest speaker, Jesus Gerena, CEO  of the Family Independence Initiative  for an interactive and thought provoking discussion on social justice investing.

Description: An extraordinary number of people around the world have taken to the streets in protest of racial injustice. These demonstrations are moving the national conversation toward meaningful change. Our speakers will help to identify how we, both individually and collectively, can shape the conversational landscape about race in our communities to advance in transformational change in our communities. We have extended the session to include facilitated conversations offering attendees to join into more in depth discussion stemming from the speakers discussion.
