Tocqueville Committee
Tocqueville Assemblée Régionale

The purpose of this key volunteer committee is to elevate our local branch of the Tocqueville Society and engage our highly committed ambassadors. The committee will promote the work of United Way California Capital Region, keep donors informed and engaged with our programs, our partners and those served in the community. The committee will also serve as a liaison for the membership, ensuring that appropriate levels of benefits, recognition and volunteer opportunities are both available and amenable to our donors. Increased participation in the Tocqueville Society through cultivation and retention of donors plays a strong role in developing this network of philanthropic leaders.

Kim Hewitt is the current chair of our local Tocqueville Society. Kim is an amazing volunteer and community leader. A Director with IBM, she currently serves on the Board of Directors for United Way California Capital Region. Kim was a pivotal piece in bringing IBMs Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) to our community, serving students across Yolo County. Kim is dedicated to supporting children and families in need, and is an ardent champion for education as a route to success.

If you are interested in helping to reignite our local Tocqueville Society, and drive lasting change in our community, volunteer to participate on the committee.
