Roseville Resident Elected to United Way Board of Directors
SACRAMENTO (2/25/21) – Jessica Sellner of Roseville has been
elected to United Way California Capital Region’s board of
directors. Sellner is vice president of finance
at Health Net and California Health and Wellness, part
of Centene.
“Health Net has been an important partner in our Square One
Project here in Sacramento and with other United Ways
across California,” said Stephanie Bray, president and
CEO, United Way California Capital Region. “We are grateful
to Jessica for representing Health Net and lending her
financial expertise to our organization.”
For the last six years, Sellner has overseen approximately
40 people in the Health Net finance department. A native of
El Dorado Hills, Sellner obtained her bachelor’s
and master’s degrees before moving to Roseville. She has
lived in Roseville for seven years, where her children are
actively involved in sports and her husband owns a
small business.
For nearly 100 years, United Way California
Capital Region has brought local people together to make
community change happen. Today, the nonprofit is bringing
people together across Amador, El Dorado, Sacramento,
Placer and Yolo counties for its Square One Project,
a 20-year promise to significantly increase the number of
students in our region who graduate from high school ready
for success in college and beyond. United Way believes
