Literacy Tutoring Student Sign-Up

United Way California Capital Region is offering Literacy Tutoring at the Rancho Cordova Library and Valley Hi North Laguna Library. This program is designed to help students in K-6th grade who need literacy support to become stronger and more confident readers.

If you would like us to meet with your child to determine if they are a good fit for this program, please fill out this form.

Note: filling out this form, does not guarantee that we can enroll the student in the program. We have limited availability and United Way staff will assess the students reading level to determine their eligibility.

Students are required to attend tutoring 2 days/week for 40 minutes/session. Do you agree with this attendance policy?(Required)
Note: You will need to take your student to the library for tutoring and wait for them to finish their lesson.
Are you able to attend a Zoom meeting with a United Way staff member so we can assess the student's reading level?(Required)
If not, we will follow up with you to arrange an in-person meeting at one of the selected library branches.
