Kindergarten 2 College Savings Program
It's never too early to start saving

In 2016, our local United Way has partnered with the City of Sacramento and Safe Credit Union to launch a Kindergarten to College (K2C) program at five SCUSD schools. Over the past few years, United Way’s Young Leaders Society has raised funds to expand this program to the Robla School District in north Sacramento.

During the 2019-2020 school year, all incoming Kindergarten students enrolled in the Robla School District will receive a $25 seed for their own college savings account.

Our local United Way will open a college savings plan for each Kindergartener with a $25 deposit at the start of the school year. Families can jumpstart their savings with additional incentives

  • Invest $25 in your account, and we will match your savings.
  • Attend financial workshops, and earn up to an additional $100 for your child’s account.
