Got a closet full of clothes, but nothing to wear?  Bag up your unwanted duds and give them to United Way California Capital Region nonprofit partner United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Sacramento and Northern California.  They’re also seeking household goods, small furniture items, old cars and electronic waste.  You’ll feel good knowing that $.91 of each dollar donated goes back into UCP programs and services, which benefit children and adults with developmental disabilities.

Call (800) 860-0357 to arrange a complimentary pick-up for miscellaneous merchandise or (800) UCP-7217 for a vehicle pick-up.  For your old laptops, phones, desktops and other e-waste, arrange a free pick-up through Tri-Valley Recycling at www.eWaste4good.com and select “UCP Sacramento” as the beneficiary.  To read more about this important organization, go to www.ucpsacto.org
