Lilliput Children’s Services upgrades to facility with child and family center

Certified nonprofit partner Lilliput Children’s Services, Northern California’s leading provider of foster, adoption and kinship services, is delighted to announce the move of their main office, effective immediately. Lilliput’s new facility has a “child and family center” which allows for the expansion of clinical services offered to children and families in Sacramento and Placer Counties, and provides space for visitation between foster children and their birth families.

Specialized family-focused, attachment-based clinical services are critical to adoptive and kinship families because it can mean the difference between a family disrupting, with the children entering or reentering non-relative foster care, and the children thriving, able to remain safe with their adoptive or kinship families.

They have relocated to 8391 Auburn Blvd, Citrus Heights, 95610.

To help support the move to their new home, Lilliput is currently holding a “$20 for 12 in 2012” pledge drive. Support to cover the cost of the move and new building enhancements means that the agency can better serve vulnerable children and their families in the coming year by directing the dollars to program, not moving expenses. Donors can choose what they want their pledge to support:

• Kids Rule (NEW! Child & Family Visit/Therapy Center)
• Child Welfare 101 (NEW! Conference & Training Center)
• Nuts & Bolts (General Operations &
Building Maintenance)
• Lilli-Choice (Funds will be used where the need is greatest)

All $20 for 12 in 2012 pledgors will be recognized with a name plate on a piece of child’s artwork displayed in Lilliput’s new “home.”
