Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library
Free books for kids in Woodland

By reading regularly to your children during preschool years, you are giving them a big boost toward a successful education.

With the help of local community partners in Woodland, our local United Way is helping children in Woodland build home libraries at no cost through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Each month, a new book is mailed directly to your child’s home every month for a year until their 5th birthday.

To be eligible, children must be born in 2016, 2017, 2018 or 2019 and be a resident of Woodland, Knights Landing, or the Capay Valley. Six to nine weeks after you register, your child will begin receiving books at your home. This will continue every month until your child turns five or moves out of the area.

Register your child today.
