Together, we can end poverty by helping kids meet important educational milestones so they graduate from high school prepared for success in college and beyond. Thank you for your support! You are making a significant impact in our community and changing lives.

Volunteer
Volunteers transform our communities. Volunteers devote time and talent to create a meaningful difference and impact in our region. Whether you want to volunteer once, once a week, or once a year, we have something for you on our Volunteer Center. Give an hour. Give a day. We want you to join us as we make a difference in our region.
If you have any questions about these projects, or any project on our calendar, please contact Diana Vo at diana.vo@uwccr.org.
Events
United Way hosts signature events every year that encourage positive change and improve the community. We have a wide variety of events from our annual women’s luncheon every Spring to our Robla Community Festival in the Fall and many more in between. There’s an activity for everyone to get involved and learn more.

Leadership Giving
Every movement needs leaders. Throughout our 20-year commitment to the Square One Project, we seek benefactors who will set the tone for others and establish the significance of the need in our community. When you invest $1,000 or more in the work of United Way California Capital Region, you lead by example and ensure that together we have the momentum to reach our goals. Your commitment and generosity serve as motivation and inspiration for donors, volunteers and advocates across our region.
Workplace Giving Campaigns
Is your company interested in giving back to the community in an easy and fun way? Participating in a United Way workplace campaign gives your organization and your employees the opportunity to learn about our community’s needs and a convenient way to make a difference. You can join with other businesses across Amador, El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento and Yolo counties to help improve lives in our community.
