The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, or VITA program, brings back millions of dollars each year though the Earned Income Tax Credit for working families in the Sacramento region. We need your support!
The VITA program is a free tax assistance service for low- and moderate-income families in our community. We can only do this with the help of our volunteers. Without volunteer help many of our families would have to pay for the tax assistance they receive, reducing the amount of the refunds they have earned.
United Way California Capital Region is proud to be your resource for giving back to the community in many ways including workplace giving campaigns, volunteer opportunities and special events.
