Its Never too Early to Start Saving
Setting the expectation to achieve higher education starting as early as kindergarten
Say hello to the future graduating class of 2030! These kids pictured here from Robla, Taylor Street, and Bell Avenue Elementary Schools just opened college savings accounts through K2C.
From kindergarten through the end of third grade, students learn to read. From fourth grade on, kids need to be able to read in order to learn.
Education is the cornerstone of individual and community success, and early age literacy is vital to education. We understand the importance of investing in early learning tools that will set students and families up for a lifetime of success. Studies show students reading at grade level are four times more likely to graduate from high school.
Thank you for giving BIG during this year’s Big Day of Giving.
Nearly $20,000 was raised in 24 hours! On behalf of the children and families that United Way impacts, THANK YOU!
With the support of Wells Fargo and their matching dollars, we were able to turn your donations into nearly $40,000. The best part – Wells Fargo – has generously agreed to donate the remaining $5,000 to United Way. That means we raised close to $45,000 in 24 hours!
