Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services Hosts 3rd Career Fair


Our certified nonprofit partner Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services (SFBFS) will host a FREE career and job development fair to help combat unemployment. The fair will offer career resources as well as expose job seekers to local businesses with entry level positions.

The event is open to the public and over 100 individuals who are currently enrolled in SFBFS’ Adult Education programs will attend.

SFBFS’ Adult Education program offers free classes including computer classes, GED preparation and English as a Second Language. This career fair is designed to connect these students, along with anyone in the community, with resources to improve their chances of securing employment.

The  career fair will take place from 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at:

Looking for ways to get involved as a supporter for this event? The fair will also serve as a drop off location for business attire. Please bring down your gently-used suits, shoes and work accessories to help potential employees feel confident with their appearance during future interviews.
