Description:   Visit the museum this weekend to learn about Earth’s nearest neighbor- the Moon!   This international event reminds people to look up and enjoy our nearest celestial neighbor.  Learn some basic moon facts in our Space Quest! exhibit and in our special Moon-themed planetarium show (at 1:00pm and 3:00pm, ages 4 and older only).  With this newfound knowledge, kids decorate a Moon cookie to take as a treat.  Families can take home a “Moon Packet” with good viewing tips, Moon map, and more!
