We hope to see you on Wednesday, October 2nd to hear how Robert L. McCaffrey Middle School improved attendance and promotion rates from Ron Rammer, one of the Principals at McCaffrey. We will also get an overview of both the Common Core Standards and the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF).
The Education Collaborative will meet from 2 – 4 p.m. at United Way California Capital Region (10389 Old Placerville Road, Sacramento, 95827) in the Intel Conference room. The agenda for the meeting is below along with information on a State Farm Grant.
From State Farm: Schools have until October 17th to register for an opportunity to be awarded one of (4) $100,000 grants or one of (90) $25,000 grants. It’s all based on teen driving commitments made during National Teen Driver Safety Week – October 18- 26. But they have to be registered. Only 10% of the dollars awarded have to be applied to a teen driver safety program – the remaining funds can be used as the school sees fit. Visit www.CelebrateMyDrive.com for more information
