California Capital Region Education Collaborative
help increase high school graduation rates in the California Capital Region
Increasing the high school graduation rate will not be easy, but it can be done!
A group of businesses, nonprofits, educators, community members and more have joined together to make it possible. Join us on September 10 from 1 – 3:30 p.m. at California State University Sacramento Alumni Center (6000 J St. State University Drive South, Sacramento, CA, 95819) for the California Capital Region Education Collaborative meeting.
State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Torlakson will be on hand to discuss the state of education in California and the critical role that community support plays in providing our students with a top-notch education. It is an excellent opportunity to ask questions of the chief of California’s public school system and leader of the California Department of Education. Come prepared with your questions!
You will also learn about the Collaborative’s target schools and how you can join the effort to increase graduation rates in our region.
RSVP your attendance by replying to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You will be sent a parking pass that will allow you to park for free on the University campus.
