Join the Emerging Leaders Leadership Council!

The Emerging Leaders Program Leadership Council shall be charged with growing and expanding our membership, activities, goals and projects related to United Way’s Community Impact projects (Education, Income and Health).
Leadership Council Size
8-10 Emerging Leaders Program members with key areas of expertise. Each member of the Leadership Council serves as a Co-Chair for one of the four committees within the program (Professional Development, Community Involvement, Membership and Engagement and Communications).
Leadership Council members attend a monthly meeting held on the second Thursday of each month from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm at United Way’s office. Additionally, Leadership Council members attend a majority of Emerging Leaders events, rotating between volunteer, networking, professional development and social events.
- Grow membership in workplace campaigns
- Grow membership in small businesses
- Develop special projects
- Plan and expand Emerging Leader Program activities
How to Apply
To apply for the Emerging Leaders Leadership Council, please fill out the Leadership Council application. The deadline to apply Sunday, December 1st. Applicants will be notified by December 15th if they were selected to join the Leadership Council. Please submit completed applications to EL@uwccr.org.
