Article

On Saturday, September 29th seventeen volunteers came out bright and early to lend a few hours of their time to Senior Gleaners, a United Way certified nonprofit partner.Senior Gleaners supplies food and household products to 135 charities who distribute the food to the needy in our region. Volunteers came from around the region from various companies including Allied/Nationwide, Intel Corporation, Wells Fargo, Gilbert Associates, Franchise Tax Board, ITW-BCG and Agilent Technologies.

The diverse group came together and sorted, organized and checked quality of a large area of the warehouse filled with donated supplies and household products. The best part of the day was watching the Emerging Leaders group come together to overcome challenges in the process and truly working as a team to get the job done. Way to go to team! Thank you to all who came out for this fun day and for Senior Gleaners for being wonderful hosts for the volunteers.
