Bank of America remains one of the regions largest supporters of the community and United Way California Capital Region is glad to be an integral part of engaging employees in their community giving. Since 2006 combined, associates have given over $1 million through payroll deduction alone. Each year, during the campaign associates are given the opportunity to learn about United Way’s Community Impact projects as well as gain knowledge about United Way’s non-profit partners through educational sessions, agency fairs and other communications.

The campaign team and Sacramento market leadership work tirelessly to ensure a high participation rate by focusing on providing all associates an informed and educated opportunity to participate. Bank of America was the United Way California Capital Region’s sponsor for our Text-to-Give program in 2011, which opened doors for us in terms of communicating more effectively to new audiences. The commitment to innovate new ways of supporting our community is just one of many reasons we love our partnership with Bank of America.
