Women in Philanthropy members and supporters participate in the Foster Youth Emancipation Basket program through Sacramento County. Items are collected for the more than 300 foster youth emancipating from the system so they have necessary household items to get started on their own.
Our towel sets, luggage pieces and toiletry items are included in these baskets. Last year, we collected more then 451 towel sets, hundreds of toiletry items and 44 pieces of luggage. We collect luggage so foster youth have something to transport their belongings.
Purchase towel sets, toiletries and/or luggage HERE!
If you are not a current member, this event is also a great opportunity to learn more about Women in Philanthropy.
