Cocktails and Ballet Kicks Off Holiday Season

United Way Event

On November 10, 2011 more than 90 guests enjoyed a mix of drinks, appetizers, networking and ballet at United Way’s Emerging Leaders Fall Event at Lounge ON20. Guests had the opportunity to get acquainted with United Way’s Emerging Leaders and other young professionals. The evening was complete with a sneak peak of “The Nutcracker” by Pamela Hayes Classical Ballet.

Proceeds went to United Way California Capital Region and its nonprofit partners working on high school graduation rates, household financial stability and obesity through United Way projects: STAR Readers, $en$e-Ability and Fit Kids. What is this Emerging Leaders Program I keep hearing so much about?
Emerging Leaders are young or young-at-heart professionals who join together across varying backgrounds and industries to create lasting change throughout the California Capital Region.

Members make a minimum donation to one of the projects of United Way mentioned above.
