United Way collects more than 47,000 toilet paper rolls for local nonprofits

July 2, 2010 -- The greater Sacramento community rolled out the white carpet for local nonprofits, donating more than 47,000 rolls of toilet paper to help more than 100 nonprofits offset costs for this important staple and allocate more dollars toward programs.

June 29, 2010 -- Impressively The Golden 1 Credit Union donated 15,989 rolls of toilet paper ranking them the top donor for their second year running! They played a big roll in the 2nd Annual Toilet Paper Drive not only with their donation, but by sponsoring the event and hosting a drop-off location at their Operations Center in Sacramento.

LIVE UNITED Street Teams a Wild Success!

June 10, 2010 -- LIVE UNITED Street Teams took Roseville and Sacramento by storm spreading the word about the 2nd Annual Toilet Paper Drive. Loads of volunteers participated by holding signs on street corners, handing out fliers to passerby's and waving toilet paper in the air.
