Spring towel, toiletry and luggage drive
Benefiting local foster youth

Post

United Way’s Women in Philanthropy has partnered with Sacramento County to help collect items needed for the Foster Youth Emancipation Basket program. Many foster youth emancipating from the system do not have necessary household items to get started on their own, and we want to help make that transition a little bit easier.

Please join us by donating towel sets, toiletries and new or like new luggage for more than 260 foster youth. Items collected will be included in baskets with other items donated by community groups.

How to donate:

1. VISIT OUR AMAZON WISHLIST (Enjoy the convenience of shipping directly to United Way on your behalf).

OR

2. Purchase items on your own and drop off at United Way (10389 Old Placerville Road, Sacramento, 95827) through April 26.

Join us for a volunteer event on April 20 to prepare the items to be dropped off with local foster youth.
