Crystal Richardson LIVES UNITED by motivating her friends and
family to enthusiastically support the nonprofit community with
the help of knock-your-socks-off towers of cupcakes.
With the our 2nd Annual LIVE UNITED Toilet Paper Drive just
around the corner, our local business partners are feeling the
spirit. As United Way Staffers, we are constantly impressed with
the culture of creativity and the giving spirit shown by our
customers.
With the United way Thank You Breakfast nipping at our heels, I’m
constantly reminded of the overwhelming amount of generosity and
good-will displayed by the many volunteers who have committed
their time and energy to United Way. Planning for this event
always brings welcomed reflection of the past campaign season and
all the fun and hard work that took place. We are so fortunate to
work with such amazing, good-hearted people throughout the
Sacramento region. Coming into the 2009 campaign, we faced some
unprecedented challenges.
Recently I had the pleasure of attending a powerful event at
Allied Insurance that was designed to recognize leadership
givers. With a committee of more than 80 employees at
Allied/Nationwide, the event was impeccably planned and executed
and more importantly, it exemplified the outstanding community
leadership of the employees.
