Project description:

The Walk for End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. Held annually in over 600 communities nationwide, this event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions. On September 23rd, we expect over 3,500 walkers to join us at the State Capitol in the fight against this disease.

You can help make the Walk to End Alzheimer’s happen! We need volunteers to approach participants and visitors to ask if they’d like to join our advocacy and TrialMatch efforts. We’re looking for friendly, outgoing volunteers who don’t mind talking with our visitors! Training and a script will be provided to volunteers on the day of the event.
