Say thank you & keep them posted
Recognize the people who support you.
It’s important to send your donors some kind of communication saying thank you, and in a timely manner. A personalized email or a handwritten note is a great idea. You can also thank your donors via Facebook (by tagging them) and other social media – most people love being recognized in public for their good deeds and it is likely to increase more visitors and donors to your page.
People care about what you care about.
Once you meet or exceed your goal, share the excitement with all those who helped you get there. It’s also an opportunity for them to stay involved with this cause and be a part of the journey as the Hydration Stations get installed and our success stories begin rolling in.
