California CareForce 2018 Sacramento Clinic
Saturday, Sept. 22, 6 a.m. - 12 p.m.
From September 21-23 at Cal Expo, California CareForce will once again provide free medical, dental, and vision care to 1,500-2,500 under-served individuals and families worth up to $1 million with the help of 600-1,000 professional and community volunteers.
Free services offered to patients will include:
- General medical exams
- Dental x-rays, cleanings, fillings, and extractions
- Eye health checks, vision exams, and custom prescription eyeglasses made on-site (up to 350 pairs per day)
No ID or insurance is needed. There are absolutely no restrictions on who can receive care based on income, employment, age, family size, residency, or immigration status either.
Community volunteers are needed to register patients, escort them around the clinic, restock supplies, sterilize dental equipment, check patients out and more. All training is provided at the clinic. You must be 18 years old or older to participate.
Professionals including Medical Doctors, Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, Dental Assistants, Dental Hygienists, General Dentists, Oral Surgeons, Optometrists, Ophthalmologists, and Opticians are needed. Only professionals with an active license in California can volunteer.
Food, drinks, and a free volunteer t-shirt will be provided.

Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and a free volunteer t-shirt will be provided for all volunteers. Medical equipment and supplies will be provided to professionals. Volunteers should wear comfortable closed-toed shoes, long pants, and avoid wearing any clothing with offensive or political messages.
