200 towel sets still needed!
Annual spring drive benefiting local foster youth

Post

United Way’s Women in Philanthropy has partnered with Sacramento County to help collect items needed for the Foster Youth Emancipation Basket program. Many foster youth emancipating from the system do not have necessary household items to get started on their own, and we want to help make that transition a little bit easier.

Now through April 20, please join us by donating towel sets, toiletries and new or gently used luggage for more than 260 foster youth. Items collected will be included in baskets with other items donated by community groups.

It’s easy to donate via our amazon wishlist:

1. VISIT OUR AMAZON WISHLIST (Avoid the hassle! Items will be shipped directly to United Way on your behalf).

OR

2. Purchase items on your own and drop off at United Way (10389 Old Placerville Road, Sacramento, 95827) no later than April 20.
