Young Professionals In Philanthropy & Service
The United Way Young Leaders Society (YLS) is a diverse group of young professionals focused on philanthropy and service in the Greater Sacramento Region. YLS members are committed to investing in health and educational opportunities for students by volunteering their time, mobilizing their social networks, and raising money for an annual community impact project.
This year, we’re focusing on increasing access to healthy drinking water for students through our Hydration Station Initiative. By securing financial support and community partnerships from young professionals in our region, we’ll fund the purchase and installation of hydration stations in target schools, provide every student at those schools with a reusable water bottle, and educate students on the importance of drinking water for a healthy life, and using water resources wisely during the California drought.
Interested in joining our efforts? A minimum donation of $100 gives you both YLS membership and an opportunity to help make the Hydration Station Initiative a success.
