Celebrity Chef Challenge benefit needs volunteers
Feb. 10, 2010 -- United Way California Capital Region certified agency, InAlliance, is hosting a celebrity chef challenge that could use community support and volunteers. The annual fundraiser -- the Celebrity Chef Challenge -- will be held at the California Automobile Museum in Sacramento on On Friday, April 30, 2010.
The event includes a raffle and the nonprofit is looking for volunteers who could help obtain raffle items. This often means going out directly to businesses and asking for an item, service or gift certificate. The agency has information packets about this process for anyone interested in helping.
InAlliance also needs people who can volunteer time to post flyers at local businesses throughout the Sacramento region.
Finally, they need help working the actual event.They will need about 120 volunteers to help with anything from parking detail to raffle ticket sales to working directly with the celebrity chefs. See flyer below for more information.
