To improve people’s lives in our region by mobilizing and integrating resources.

United Way California Capital Region’s vision is to build stronger, healthier, more compassionate communities in our region by partnering with local employers and nonprofits to improve people’s lives.

Working with 750 employers in Amador, El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento and Yolo counties, we hold workplace giving campaigns to raise support for local nonprofits who share our mission and for our United Way focus areas that bring together these nonprofits to tackle tough issues in our community.

We want to positively impact three vitally important areas in our region:

Education: Helping Children and Youth Reach Their Potential

Income: Promoting Financial Stability and Independence

Health: Improving People's Health

United Way California Capital Region is an independent local affiliate of United Way of America with a local board of directors. We serve a five-county region: Amador, El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento and Yolo.

We want to work with you to make a positive impact in our community.
