Event

The Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 is intended to encourage depository institutions to help meet the credit needs of the communities in which they operate, including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods, consistent with safe and sound lending practices.

This interagency-sponsored workshop is designed for staff of Central Valley community-based organizations who are interested in obtaining current information and training on the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and how it can benefit their organizations.  This workshop will cover how community-based organizations may constructively work with banks to improve neighborhoods and communities.

** The session will be interactive, and the participants will receive resource materials. Space is limited to 60 registrations. Therefore, no more than two representatives from each organization may attend.

REGISTRATION closes September 9, 2011.
