Over the last 100 years, our local United Way has raised more than $500 million to fight poverty in the region and help families succeed. Join our mission today with a donation that ensures together we reach our shared goal of ending poverty in our region.

$10/month: Two books for a child for each month of the school year – to spark the joy of reading
$25/month: A digital literacy training session
$50/month: Support for a foster youth as they transition out of foster care
$80/month: Year-long literacy support to help students stay on track
$100/month: Leadership experience for a teen to provide academic activities for kids
$565/year: Tax assistance to 10 low-moderate income families
$1600/year: Investment in a family in our Guaranteed Income Program

  • 100th Anniversary: Helping Kids Excel in School
    • A quality education helps children develop the social, emotional and cognitive skills that lay the foundation for a more fulfilling and stable life.
    • Help us reach our 100 Year Anniversary Goal of raising $3 million to help 10,000 Kids Excel in School by 2025!
  • Investing in Families
    • Investment programs focused on families help reduce debt, build savings, and promote sustainable financial stability.
  • Strengthening Schools

      • Women United (WU): Foster Youth (Annual donation totaling $350 or more)
        • WU is dedicated to ensuring local foster youth have the resources they need to excel in school and be successful adults.
      • Young Leaders Society (YLS): Digital Equity (Annual donation totaling $100 or more)
        • YLS creates opportunities for young professionals to make a difference and become leaders in the community.

Give $1,000 or more annually and gain access to exclusive events, priority registration and seating at events, and more. Plus, annual donations totaling $10,000 or more automatically makes you a special member of our Tocqueville Society.

Conduct a Workplace Giving Campaign to meet the charitable interests of your employees, or run a Round-Up Campaign to support the community with spare change.
