Exciting Transition for Women in Philanthropy
United Way's Crystal Richardson to staff Women in Philanthropy

Amber Lovett

For the last ten years, I have staffed United Way’s Women in Philanthropy initiative. This has always been one of the most exciting and rewarding parts of my job. However, as the group has grown, and my marketing and communications tasks at United Way have expanded, we feel the initiative needs more staff time dedicated to this powerful group.

Crystal Richardson, Director of Resource Development, along with her other members of her team, will now be staffing Women in Philanthropy. I am so excited to have Crystal take on this important role, and I wouldn’t have handed over the management of Women in Philanthropy to anyone else. Crystal brings a high level of expertise in the resource development field and will be able to help expand Women in Philanthropy membership in United Way’s workplace campaigns and beyond.

I will still remain heavily involved in the planning and execution of the annual luncheon in October, and of course, as a Women in Philanthropy member. Crystal and I are both so excited to see how Women in Philanthropy will improve with this fresh new perspective.

Sincerely, Amber Murry.
