United Way offers interest groups for those who want to join the movement and network with others who have similar interests.
A national group, the society promotes the importance of community service and personal giving. When you give $10,000 in one year through United Way you become a member of our local chapter.
United Way’s Women in Philanthropy is a group of local women helping local foster youth. They raise funds, hold drives and provide trainings and experiences to help foster youth rise to their dreams.
The United Way Young Leaders Society (YLS) is a diverse group of young professionals (ages 21-40) focused on philanthropy and service in the greater Sacramento Region. YLS members are committed to investing in health and educational opportunities for students by volunteering their time, mobilizing their social networks, and raising money for an annual community impact project.
