Are you interested in taking a leadership position with United Way’s Emerging Leaders Program?
Join the leadership council!

Purpose

The Emerging Leaders Program Leadership Council shall be charged with growing and expanding our membership, activities, goals and projects related to United Way’s Community Impact projects (Education, Income and Health).

Steering Committee Size

8-10 Emerging Leaders Program members with key areas of expertise. Each member of the Leadership Council serves as a Co-Chair for one of the four committees within the program (Professional Development, Community Involvement, Membership and Engagement and Communications).

Time Commitment

1-2 hours a month, including a standing meeting approximately every 4-6 weeks (details TBD) rotating between face-to-face meetings, phone conferences and social events at fun and exciting locations!

Key Tasks

  • Grow membership in workplace campaigns
  • Grow membership in small businesses
  • Develop special projects
  • Plan and expand Emerging Leader Program activities
